Ética Política na Performatividade dos Cosplayers

Resumo

Nós investigamos o fenômeno cosplay através das lentes teóricas de Butler e Foucault, visando entender como cosplayers articulam disposições éticas por meio de suas práticas performáticas. Uma Etnografia Genealógica Foucaultiana foi conduzida ao longo de dois anos de trabalho de campo, combinando abordagens digitais e presenciais. Resultados revelam três formas de sujeito cuja ética política reflete uma relação agonística, onde cosplayers navegam por resistências conflitantes para estabelecer formas de governança que eles percebem como legítimas. A contribuição do estudo revela como práticas culturais contemporâneas moldam subjetividades políticas, oferecendo uma articulação inovadora entre performatividade e consumo.
