Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

E-Compós accepts unpublished papers, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, on communication and related fields, by researchers from higher education institutions. The journal accepts papers written by PhDs. Papers by doctoral and master’s students are only accepted in co-authorship with PhD. Papers presented and published in proceedings are considered to be original, as long as the manuscripts suffer adaptations as a result of discussions on the papers. If the first version of the text was already published in proceedings, the information should be included in the submission metadata. New revisions can be requested by the journal based on peer reviews. Translations are not considered original. Texts are received in continuous flow and can be published in up to one year. After the publication of an article, the author, regardless of the order of co-authorship, will not be able to submit it again to the journal before the interval of two years counted from the last publication. Exceptional cases will be analysed by the editorial committee.

It is mandatory to provide the Orcid number in the information of all authors.
