The aim of this paper is to analyze the Brazilian movie Abusca (2013) in two keys: its narrative structure, anchored in the road movie subgenre, and the construction of a domestic drama of separation, which, in turn, unfolds in monitoring rebellion of a teenager. In the first aspect, we have the expected in this subgenre of adventure story with its protagonist, a father, underwent a novel of evidence in an attempt to locate his only child. In the second aspect, there is a dramatic architecture that favors an exhibition quite motivated a kind of audiovisual catalog affections, emotions and feelings with emphasis on resentment. One aspect that caught our attention to this work is that it make an unusual experience of an ordinary man living an ordinary life in a unique drama in which the sensitivity of the viewer is invited to interact with the film, filling it audiovisual gaps.Downloads
