“Alive online”
The ecology of live music on YouTube in pandemic times

The article reflects on the aspects that constitute the microenvironment of YouTube´s music lives in times of pandemic from the analysis of live online in an ecology of connected media. Thus, from the list of Brazilian musical lives with the greatest simultaneous accesses in the world and the case of samba singer Teresa Cristina, we observe the role of the YouTube platform microsystem in relation to the success of Brazilian lives, as well as the reconfiguration of “live music” from the idea of connectivity.
