Banality of evil in reader comments: internet and dissemination of intolerance

From reader comments about journalistic narratives about events involving closeness’ crimes against women in gender relations this article, of essayistic nature, seeks on the concept of banality of evil to understand intolerance dynamics. At the same time that we assumed clear militancy against forms of prejudice, hate and other arrangements for the human depreciation, we alert to the need to think about theoretical assumptions that can conduct research in the communication area not to pay attention to the social contradictions, games’ power and the refusal to accept the difference as a constitutive principle of human and social richness.Downloads
