Media manipulation or memory declaration dimension?

From a historical example of twentieth-century politics - the crisis of the Second Vargas Government - the purpose of the text is to show how in the memorable dimension the media make use of discursive articulations around the same event, producing a narrative in which the forgetting takes center stage. It stands out in the analysis of the period that precedes the (almost) end of the crisis of 1954 - culminating with Vargas' suicide - the deep dimension of a journalistic memory that is constantly being updated.Downloads

Conflicts of interest and research ethics

Similarly, the institution to which the author is bound should be mentioned, as well as others that may have collaborated in the execution of the study, evidencing that there are no conflicts of interest with the result already presented. The copyrights belong exclusively to the authors.
