Our purpose is to signal the general lines and main formation phases of the posthumanist movement. We stress the composition between the concepts of trans and posthumanism that occurs in it. Considering Nietzsche as the idea’s point of departure, three moments are indicated. The first one runs from the philosopher times to the 1960’s. The second is correlated of the cybernetic thought emergency, from de sixties to the 1980’s. The last one is marked by the organization of the posthuman idea by small groups of activists. Concluding, the article suggests some points to discuss the meaning of this cyberculture phenomenon without mystification but considering it seriously from a historical perspective.Downloads
