Resuming previous discussions about the concept of gambiarra in the field of Communication and in the Human and Social Sciences, this paper revisits the work of Gilbert Simondon and authors from the Media Studies bringing the notions of mediation and information to support a reflection on the subject. Through the contributions of Alexander Galloway and Lori Emerson, the paper seeks to reconstruct the process of "concretization" ou individuation, of digital technical objects focusing on video games.
