Tracking the paradoxical clue of “lead a life with images against images” from Dietmar Kamper, the aim of this article is to reflect on thought through images as strategy of resistance to the imaginary media.Through bibliographical review and use of examples from the history of science, we try to comprehend the concept of image as thought. Later, it is reflected on the concept of Kamper’s imaginary and how this communicational environment provokes symbolic emptying of images and imaginative blunting. As hypothesis, it is suggested that the thought through images is as a body action capable of equalizing the dynamic relation between imaginary and imagination.
