Mecanismos da Disparidade Cognitiva em Narrativas Seriadas Televisivas

Avaliamos a lógica textual da construção narrativa em seriados televisivos, partindo de vertentes cognitivistas da narratologia - especialmente aquelas situadas no estudo de universos audiovisuais. Na base das relações entre a gestão textual da intriga e os níveis de cognição sobre a fábula na recepção, analisaremos a evolução dos atos dramáticos de um episódio da 2a temporada da obra Billions - cuja coerência semântica segrega-se em partes nucleares ou “quadros mentais” de referência, produzidos pela exposição da trama. Indagaremos a seguir sobre a construção dos efeitos de “surpresa”, sustentados pela noção de “disparidade cognitiva”, elaborada originalmente por Edward Branigan.
