Os jornalistas brasileiros em contextos de crises:
uma análise das trajetórias profissionais de 2012 a 2017

Este artigo tem por objetivo investigar a carreira de 517 jornalistas que atuavam na mídia em 2012 para saber onde esses profissionais estavam em 2017, bem como explorar as características do atual trabalho. Desde meados da atual década, o mercado jornalístico foi atingido por uma grande crise de diversas naturezas. Os postos de trabalho diminuíram e muitos profissionais foram obrigados a procurar outros empregos. Para isso, foi realizado um survey online em novembro e dezembro de 2017 com os jornalistas que participaram da primeira pesquisa, em 2012. Os resultados indicam que metade dos respondentes saiu da mídia no período de cinco anos, migrando para as assessorias, docência e, principalmente, para empregos fora da área.
