The article describes the creation of a rock culture in Angola, having as main north that the less access to the production, circulation and consumption of rock culture is one of the fundamental principles of creativity in the musical production of Angolan rockers. The ethnography with the musical movement was carried out with empirical data from three field works in Angola in 2014, 2016 and 2017. Cast as the rockers' creativity shows an insurgent and reexistent artistic process not only in relation to the cultural codes of rock , but also to local histories and the ideal of Angolanity.
