The cinematographic work of João César Monteiro (1939-2003) is a unique meditation field on social, political and cultural realities of post- 25th of April in Portugal. As a moviemaker, Monteiro insisted on the artistic and aesthetical creation as a privileged vehicle for the affirmation of a personal point of view on occidental society of our days.Downloads
