Understanding Arya Stark, a central character in A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones, as a queer traveler, we aim to observe what is established as the possibilities/impossibilities of femininity in the saga. To this end, we undertake a critical cultural analysis of the media, inspired by feminist/queer thinking, and, based on categories revealed in the literary and audiovisual narrative, we identify places of dispute around patriarchal and heteronormative logics that permeate the plot and also go beyond it.
