This text analyzes live streams organized by pichadores on YouTube. Our hypothesis is that these media broadcasts dispute memories about the city. The work is guided by the Semiotics of Culture to understand memory as a possibility for the emergence of new meanings. Added to this theoretical axis is the notion of minority memory and critical perspectives of historicity. The stories, through theories of difference, allow for a plural reading of time based on rediscovered signs. As a result, the peripheral experiences of pichação in urban space put tension on the great city narratives by denouncing historical violence and inequalities.
